Mechanical fuel pump to carb routing ideas

I'll start by saying the line coming up from my fuel pump has more twists and bends than I care to count. From the fuel pump the hard line makes its way up near the distributor cap where it connects to the fuel filter via a rubber line with hose clamps. From there the rubber line runs across the motor to the side of my Edelbrock carb.

I was looking at a few options from Edelbrock and I came up with this for the fuel filter and hard line running out of the carb. The price is reasonable.

The line that runs from the pump to the filter is a little more than I want to spend if there are better options out there.

Any other options out there that look good and don't get in the way of anything else? Pictures would be great if you have any available.

I ran stainless steel braided (from Summit). I have an electric pump on the pass. side (my carb inlet is on the pass. side) , so I took it from the carb to the firewall, then down. But you might be able to do something similar.
