Hi to all hope all is well with everyone. I have been working on my frame off restoration. Down to parts every place. Currently trying to decide on the transmission. I had a 302 with c4 new rebuilt new torque converter. Purchased a 351w that was stroked and freshly built with a c6 2 wheel drive trans. Thinking of using the c4 not sure what torque converter. I don't have the motor build info, not sure of the cam and such. Any Ideas?

It would be cheaper to use the c4 since its already set up for an EB, and they can be built plenty strong. As for the flex plate the standard EB 302 flexplate will work.

Thanks for the info not sure on the torque converter stall speed. If the one on the c4 is correct or do I need to get another one

Unless the C4 has got some money in it I would suggest a manual or at least a giant trans cooler and a shift kit.
