I've seen a few different types and liked the one with the bicycle gear shifter but you can't beat this for free. It's the stock throttle bracket with cable I had in my spare parts..........

Thanks. Very cool. That is a clean install of the control knob on the dash.
Where did you find that cable setup? It looks like factory. ;)

It is factory but usually mounted way on the left side of the guage cluster.
I just made it shorter and used one of Duke's control knobs and the stock throttle bezel.

Yep, I have one in my 75 that I installed next to the igniton switch but it has the factory matching knob. Actually I have had a couple and sole them but that is all I have ever seen, can't say there rare, but they weren't plentiful.

I have been told that these were factory installed whenever the which was ordered or the snow plow option. i do not know that for a fact. You see quite a few of them. You can pick them up on e-bay from time to time. Just search bronco throttle cable. I got a perfect one, cable knob, and pedal lever for $30.

On the '66 it was located left of the ignition switch and lined up below the emergency flasher light.

By the way I have a NOS throttle cable for 67' and up. If anyone is interested PM me.

Mad, why do you periodically dig up these old threads?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy re-reading them. Just wondering.
Dennis

Never mind I see now the link to the other post....
