• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

For sale: 1976 Corvette, red, 350, automatic,t-tops.

LOCATED IN SOUTH JERSEY(Turnersville). I live about an hour away from where the car is located and have two small children so my time is limited, I won't be available to show the car to everone who calls just to take a look, directions may be given to potential buyers who want to see it up close. I would like to sell it local, but would assist in shipping at buyers expence

Used to run well, but has been sitting for about 3 years.
Has had many owners, 1 of which was my father, then me.
Needs: Well, I would say a partial to full restoration, but as stated it runs well, so it could probably be driven after an initial tune up and inspection.
Here is the story as I know it.
My dad bought this car at an auction with plans to restore it. He started a new job with a long commute shortly after and never really had time to spare. Eventually, he handed it down to me. I took care of the immediate needs, and whatever else I could afford(which wasn't much.)
I consider myself pretty honest(most of the time) and don't want to sell anyone a money pit without the buyer fully understanding what buying a care like this will truly cost them. I hope to see this car go to someone who has the knowledge, tools and money to fix it up themselves. If not, someone who has enough expendable income to get the job done. Of course, If someone wants to drive it as is, until it dies or is crashed beyond repair, that's fine too, as long as they are made aware of what I feel should be done for this car and the expense. What they do after that is their own business.
Here is a list of important items it needs that I can think of off the top of my head.

T-Tops are both cracked, one is pretty bad, but they are in place and keep the weather out.
All weatherstripping is pretty shot.
Seats are pretty bad as is most of the interior but it is useable.A few pieces are ok and new
Needs paint especially on the drivers side door which has peeled off over the years, and the nose.
There are a few cracks in the body, but nothing major.
A/c compressor missing, can't speak for the rest of the system.
The rims are cheapies, as are the tires.
On the subject of tires, one of them rubs in the well on sharp turns(drivers front). Why I don't know but it does. It didn't used too, but after sitting for a while before it was given to me, something happened, and I don't know what. A Corvette frame specialist told me some came from the factory like that, but that sounds crazy to me. Another Vette specialist told me it's the rims, but I don't know about that either.
That's about all I can think of other then 30 years of wear and tear.
It has anaftermarket intake manifold, carb and airfilter housing ,with k n filter. New exhaust with flowmaster mufflers.
I know Vettes from the late seventies are not nearly as collectable as earlier models, but some guys love them. This particular 76 is probably not considered a collector car since it has had, and will need more original parts replaced. It has an edelbrock intake and carb, plus a nice aftermarket airfilter housing and kn filter. It is a great rod though and if you are looking for something to work on,max out, and customize, this may be for you.

Here is what I hope to get for it $5000,(thats what dad paid for it) or best offer. I'll consider trades for a pre 1978 Bronco, that is in decent shape(comparable to the vette), and I am open to offers of pretty much any type.

Sorry, the interior shots are taken through the window because I didn't have the key at the time. The passenger side handle is broken. I think you can see what kind of shape it is in, just by looking at the driverside seat. The passengerside is not as bad, but it is still pretty beat up. There are a few new parts in there, like the guage facing.
