Engine & Drivetrain
1976 Ford Bronco Engine & Drivetrain
he 302ci V8 has been resealed and delivers power through a rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission. Driveline, brakes, and suspension all received service during the refurbishment, and the original emissions system has been retained. During the refurbishment, the 302ci V8 was resealed, fitted with a new carburetor, ignition system, and fuel pump, and overhauled cooling system. Many new hoses have been installed and the original emissions system was renewed. A rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission has been installed and the transfer case was resealed.

Suspension

Both the front and rear axles have been resealed and a new steering damper was fitted up front along with new shocks at all four corners.

Wheels & Tires

Aftermarket aluminum wheels are wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO 3110.5″ rubber, and the braking system was overhauled with a new master cylinder, rotors, calipers, wheel cylinders, and hoses.

Exterior

The exterior has been repainted in dark green and new rubber seals for the doors and windshield glass have been installed. The brightwork shows well, and new wiper arms and chrome door mirrors have been installed.

Interior

Parchment seats have been reupholstered, and the fronts benefit from new seat foam and hinge covers. A reproduction dash pad has been installed, and the dash face has been refinished and fitted with new gauges bezels, heater cables, and a Retrosound stereo. Seat mounting holes have been repaired and new Medium Saddle carpeting was installed.
