Wish I woulda took some crimping pictures, but these things turned out great to get a cleaner custom wire length and header clearance and proctection..

Going in my f100, but figured yall would like the product.

It's a 351 with P heads and explorer efi. FYI.

Modded #6 for 90 boot clearance.

Those look great. Clean. I presume that it's the Pertronix boots on OEM wires?

And nice job massaging the #6 tube for clearance. Did you get the header ceramic coated again afterward?

I just learned about ceramic boots last year and made a set myself for explorer/351w set up to work with the shorty headers I am using. I like everything about them, even down to being easier to push on and pull off since they are rigid. Knowing how to crimp spark plug wires will soon become a lost art I am sure. Not the end of the world, coil on plug is definitely superior, but cool to see them still making advancements in technology to something this simple.

Yes, these are pertronix boots on new regular wires. I cut 6-12" off 6 of the 8 wires.

I just did a light sand blast and ceramic header spray painted that side. I am gonna do an experiment with a temp gun and measure #6 compared to the others to see if ceramic makes a real difference.

I am gonna light sand and spray the paint on the passenger side just so they match.

I just cut the original wire boot off and looked how they crimped it and copied them.
