Getting my steering wheel straight after tie rod/drag link install

Duff's makes it. I think it's a slick design. It was designed to be used with their Heim steer kit but can be used more or less with any steering set up. I actually have a probably near 20 year old (bought it new) Bulletproof Steering heim setup on my 73'. Drag link connects all the way over...

Getting my steering wheel straight after tie rod/drag link install

Personally, I like the drag link riser option better than a drop arm. But I only think one parts house is selling those. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

Getting my steering wheel straight after tie rod/drag link install

If your box is truly centered, couldn't you just put the wheels straight (and if your stock pitman arm is straight back) pull the steering wheel off and straighten it? Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

351w Build - stroker or non stroker?

Poor man's 393. I forget the link now but a guy bought a cheap cast crank (forget the specs) used stock 351 rods and stock 302 pistons to get to 393. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

    Factory power steering box leak

Welp, got it out and all of the grime cleaned off. Got the end cap off and am waiting on seals to get here. Hope this takes care of it. If so it'll save me a near $500 outlay for a replacement. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

    Factory power steering box leak

I've been searching and looking at videos and I see how the snap ring and cap work now. The question now is are we talking about the oring on the back of the cap that I'm replacing or do I need to actually do that first teflon seal and oring on the piston?

    Factory power steering box leak

Ok. So typically that hole is for what, an awl/punch to release the ring? I've never taken the front off of one of those. However, when it rains, it pours. During my testing/searching for the leak, I noticed the box flexing under load. From left to right etc.... Turns out there's a stress or...

    Factory power steering box leak

Don't have an in vehicle pic but here's a stock photo. Edit: added a pic of mine. It's leaking out of this hole. Quite a bit. So if there's a leak here, what does this indicate? A bad seal internally or something right there? At first, I didn't realize these had weep holes and I was thinking...

    Factory power steering box leak

Bringing this back to the top. Been limping along with this box just keeping the PS fluid topped off. I started re-visiting this in preparation for taking the box out and shipping it off to Blue Top.... Discovered that it's leaking out of the weep hole at the very front of the box. I confirmed...

Couple of Question for 351w Install

My biggest issue was motor mounts not lining up. Had to torch off the old frame mounts and so had new ones welded in. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

    Gauge lighting issue.

Mine are like yours. It's like they have 3 or 4 panels that light up, per bulb. But I'll play around with how they are in the sockets and gauges and see if there's any difference. Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

    Gauge lighting issue.

But no way of opening these gauges that you know of without damaging them? Sent from my Pixel 6 Pro using Tapatalk

    Gauge lighting issue.

I looked for a tinted plastic insert near where the bulbs go in and didn't see anything. It could be a coating as you suggested but I see no way of removing the bezel to take the gauge apart. Or at least I'm scared of breaking them if I do.

    Tilt seat- corbeau seat

Arguably the best solution I've seen for passenger seat tilt mechanisms is by Lick Creek Restorations. It's not on their website but I saw it in one of the broncos (I think The Duck) that they brought to Super Celebration. Looks like any seat could be mounted to it and it bolts to the lower...
