    Amp research electric steps questions

I've also purchased the Northeast Classics mounting plates. Did you find the angles welded on the ends of the mounting plate didn't extend out enough far leaving a pretty big gap between them and the Bronco sheetmetal? Also the mounting brackets have hex head bolts welded on from the back of the...

Hellwig 7867 front sway bar for lifted Bronco

I have a 68 Bronco with 3 1/2" lift, factory PS and Wild Horses front shock hoops. I've been looking at front sway bar options to help tame the body lean on the street. I was looking at the Hellwig bars and the most common 7864 model will definitely hit my shock tubes. The 7867 for a 3" - 4"...

    RTX Dakota Digital Dash

Thanks @DirtDonk the velcro is the way to go. I think over by the kick panel there's the chance of a water leak from the fresh air vent.

    RTX Dakota Digital Dash

I just received my Dakota RTX from Wild Horses yesterday and it looks great. Where did you guys mount the control box? I'm going through the instructions and prepping for the install.

High pinion D44 oil pan clearance

@68ford No it's a Currie Rock Jock early Bronco width high pinion and the motor is a 93 5.0 EFI. Looks like it'll be close and I have a 3 1/2" lift like @Senetee mentioned. Worst case scenario I'll go to a 5 1/2" lift. Still waiting on a few more parts before I can put it up in there to check...

High pinion D44 oil pan clearance

Has anyone had an oil pan clearance when installing a high pinion 44 in their Bronco?

68 Bronco V8 radiator core support question

That would be great if you could. BTW I meant to come this week to get a headliner but decided I'd probably destroy it while wait to install. I'm going wait until you have the parchment pleated vinyl quarter panels and arm rests for the back seat in stock again.

68 Bronco V8 radiator core support question

Very nice build @chuckyb! You have the condenser were I had mine installed. I was hoping to move it to the back side of the core support so it would be almost up against the radiator. The other plus is you don't have to run the A/C supply and return hoses through the support. Nows when I wished...

68 Bronco V8 radiator core support question

My bad (bad memory) I was thinking of the fender emblem and it says Sport not Ranger duh. I've had the Vintage A/C unit for 10 years but never had the A/C working because of the condenser being 1 1/2" from the radiator which causes turbulence between then and less efficient cooling and my gauges...

68 Bronco V8 radiator core support question

That's a different approach. The issue is fitting the A/C condenser. the first photo shows the full length radiator bracket on the back side of the core support. In this photo you can see there's no "U" channel stiffeners along the sides of the radiator cutout to strengthen it.

68 Bronco V8 radiator core support question

I'm new to the Forum and could use some help from the group. I have an early (November 67 build) 68 Bronco, original V8 Ranger that I'm installing a Vintage Air Heat, Defrost A/C in. Here's my problem, my 68 has a smaller radiator opening than the 69-77 core support, its 16 3/4" wide by 10 5/8"...
