    Body work

Check with Nick Menudier at NicksTrix” in Mooresville. He’s on Google and FB. Not sure who he is using, but mine came out nice.

Taking on Pritchett Canyon Moab Utah

Perspective makes a huge difference in assessing level of difficulty. From below - that looks like a pretty straightforward set of steps. Only from the top can you see how steep it is and why they didn’t try to overpower it. Moab has some great obstacles.

    First Drive, 74 Coyote Ranger

Beautiful build! Very nice mix of OEM & modern looks & technology. Love the colors.

    Gt40p loose rocker?

Agree with dirtdonk. Suggest using a stethoscope to listen on the valve cover surface over each set of rockers with the engine running. If you don’t have access to a stethoscope, you can even use a long screwdriver or long ratchet extension & touch one end to the valve cover & the other end to...

Comment by 'Germd' in item 'Tim’s 1974 Bronco'

Nick said it’s a KIA color called Aztec Bronze. Closest original Bronco color is “hot ginger” but this is a darker, deeper hue than the OEM

Thought I could get away with keeping the stoc Trac bar, but

Just got mine back from a two year full nut and bolt restoration. It was gone so long I had forgotten how it drove, although I remember it drove way better than my lifted ‘05 Rubicon with ‘35s. My Bronco is a ‘74 with a 3.5” suspension lift & 1” body lift And 35” tires. During the rebuild ALL...

    Ford thunderbird console swap/build

Rechroming is not a very environmentally friendly process, hence I’ll bet it’s become very expensive if you can even find someone to do it. I like the brushed or matte finish. I wonder what material could be used to fill the tiny pits in the metal? By now I’m sure you know you “stole” that...

    Hard Top Removal/Storage

This looks like an elegant solution to make top removal potentially a one person job - but my roll cage would be problematic. I just completed construction of a 38‘X42’ garage specifically to store the Bronco & RV so I’ll prolly be taking the top off mine for the first time ever this summer. I...

    Ford thunderbird console swap/build

Your results look spectacular! Congrats on seeing it through from concept to install! what did you end up doing to refinish the pitted chrome pot metal? 60’s era cars had a lot of gorgeous chrome interior trim that could be repurposed, but for the cost of rechroming. Totally agree that the...

    BAT Craziness

Looks like the decision to do a frame off on mine was the right one. At least it’ll be worth close to what I have in it.

Hoist for Hardtop on '74 Bronco

I built this exact system for lifting my top. HF electric hoist allows 1 person lifting power. Whole this cost less than $200.
