Lost Turn Signals, Brake Lights and Hazards

Awesome feedback. It was the pinched yellow/black wire right on the backside of the turn signal switch. I think I was able to salvage it with some electrical tape. To complicate things, once I got the brake lights and turn signals back the hazards still didn’t work. Swapped flashers with no...

Lost Turn Signals, Brake Lights and Hazards

Found a crunched yellow/black wire on the back of the switch. Not certain it was shorting. Should the signal and flasher functions work in a perfect world with the switch loose and not bolted to the column? I connected battery and tried flashers with it loose and nothing. Ran out of time and...

Lost Turn Signals, Brake Lights and Hazards

I’ll see what I can find. I’d really like to just repair a connection and not the entire switch. I can’t even turn the signal left without it blowing.

Holley sniper and Tom's 23 gallon fuel tank pump recommendations

The in tank pump BC broncos sells is super quiet as well. I recently installed one and it was night and day quieter than the pump WH included when they distributed the BC tank. That thing was obnoxious. I was told that's just the way they are.

Sniper Switched 12V Source from Voltage Regulator

Yes, original brown Ford wire is still at that terminal. The DUI is connected to that terminal and I'm also using it as a switched 12v source for and S-spod relay/fuse box that powers switches for an ARB air compressor, locker switches and some off-road LEDs. The second DUI wire ties directly...

Lost Turn Signals, Brake Lights and Hazards

As stated in the title. I found a blown fuse and replaced it which blew again immediately when testing turn signals. Replaced the fuse again and tested things one at a time. Hazards with key off – swapped flashers and tired a known good one from the parts bin. They didn’t function and the fuse...

    Holley Sniper EMI/RFI

Late to the party but this is what I used with my sniper. It clears the DUI/HEI caps (barely). You could slot the mount holes too if needed.

Sniper Switched 12V Source from Voltage Regulator

Thanks as usual Paul. I ended up adding a relay for the switched source. I used the I terminal for my trigger wire (85), wire to battery (30), wire to ground (86), and pink wire to sniper (87). The DUI is actually running off the I post. Is that a no-no?

Sniper Switched 12V Source from Voltage Regulator

I'm running a DUI distributor for my ignition. They recommended a sole/clean signal for the sniper switched 12v source. I have a few other items on that terminal for switched 12v so it's not exactly clean. It's the switched source for the DUI and a switched source for my S3 switch pod, and the...

Sniper Switched 12V Source from Voltage Regulator

I'm in search of a more reliable switched 12V source for my Sniper EFI. It needs to be "clean source" that is hot in run and crank. Wasn't one of the original voltage regulator wires a good source? I have the seabiscuit diagrams which show yellow, green/red, orange, and black/red. I removed the...

Grant Wheel Adapter and Canceling Cam

Solved: Cam was in the three o clock position, not nine. The instructions showed the cam clocked that way in an image but later mentioned 9 o clock.

Grant Wheel Adapter and Canceling Cam

I'm trying to fix a canceling cam issue that has been present for a while. The instructions for the Grant adapter (from Tom's) have you trim the two tabs on the canceling cam. Have any of you had to slide this cam slightly forward on the hub/adapter plate to have good contact with the turn...

Manifold Vacuum Advance with Sniper EFI Progressive Linkage

I've got about 100 miles on the standard 1:1 linkage. It's not insanely jumpy off the line and my throttle feel is fairly stiff. I attribute those to 37s on beadlocks and the extra helper spring I had to put on my AOD TV linkage to keep the lever from creeping forward.

Manifold Vacuum Advance with Sniper EFI Progressive Linkage

The progressive linkage swap is very simple and should only take a few minutes. I can also adjust the mechanical idle/IAC as needed if the manifold source bumps things out of wack.

Manifold Vacuum Advance with Sniper EFI Progressive Linkage

I want to install the progressive throttle linkage on my Sniper system. This renders the ported vacuum source useless since Holley put it in the secondaries. I can run manifold vacuum to the distributor but have read conflicting comments on doing so with my DUI HEI-style distributor. I found one...
