    Progress on 73 Build

New shoes and some better pics. Went with US Mags 15x10 wrapped in BFG MT's 35x12.5.

    There's a winner! Thanks!

    Mystery Parts

That helps thanks... This 73 has power front disc conversion from a 78. Does that mean this is not used? I see where it mounts to the frame rail now...but the top end if this bracket is worthless. I assume there used to be a hose hold down of some type here.

    Mystery Parts

BroncoDriver99, I guess I still need some help with this: The long narrow bracket to the right of those is the master cylinder brake line support bracket. It mounts to the frame under the master cylinder and the lines coming down from the MC get attached to it. Anyone have a picture of that?

    Mystery Parts

Thanks guys...the plates are now correctly at home...I did not even notice those holes back there. I get to throw the brake lock/adjusters away, already have those on the front brakes. The T handle does look like a small version of the tool the water company uses. Maybe just an old tool...

    Mystery Parts

So I am done with my build and have only a handful of mystery parts that were in the boxes when I bought the truck. I was hoping you could tell me what they are. Disclaimer, they could easily NOT be associated with the 1973 bronco project and just were thrown in the boxes....but lets see. Some...

    Progress on 73 Build

Good point....but these are 6 years old. And they have been kept inside off the truck. I just hate to drop the cash on 5 new ones. Because I would probably do wheels too, as things creep with me. Got my track bar adjusted today and visors in....I am running out of things to do! Still...

    Progress on 73 Build

Thanks all. Still a few things to do. I have to install a drop mount for the track bar, the front end is pulled over to the drivers side because of the lift. Also this truck has new (in wear, obviously not in age) BFG AT KO's on it, and I am having zero luck finding a 5th one to mount on...

    Progress on 73 Build

So for about 11 months I have been working on my first Bronco build. Some before and after pics. So far I'm pleased. Still work to be done...

What do you think of these wiper arms

I just bought the set too...same damn problem!

    Tank Leak

I'll give it a try. Thx.

    Tank Leak

Frustrating..just got bronco back up and running and the brand new tank is leaking from a seam. It is not leaking from the sending unit mating point (silver to black area), but fro the black seam in the tank. I assume I have to pull it and send it back to the vendor I used, unless anyone...

    Transfer Case Confusion

I will mess with it today. The problem I see with that theory is that I CAN find a neutral in the middle of the shift pattern that is truly neutral and neither shaft spins while on the lift.

    Transfer Case Confusion

Ok. So perhaps I'm not in 2H at all and front just spinning.

    Transfer Case Confusion

This just feels like one of those threads that will end up being embarrassing, and I should probably sleep on it. But....screw it. (In my defense, this is my first truck build, none of my muscle cars have transfer cases!) So I am in a full rebuild of a 73, 302, C4. Back from paint and I'm...
