    Make sure you clean out the air intake. Mine was so packed full of leaves, sticks and crap that I'm surprised any air made it through at all.     Yep, that helps a lot! I am missing the piece that clamps the spring to the bracket on the tailgate, the screws are there, but no clamp. Thank you!

    Could someone please post a pic of how the license plate spring connects to the bracket and to the tailgate? I just got my mule back from the paint shop and the spring is in a box and my license plate is flapping in the wind.

    30*C = 86*F... does it get to 30*C in Ontario in April? Sounds like a clogged fuel system to me. Did you change the filter and check the screen in the tank? Maybe some crappy gas, too. We had a truck that would vapor lock, but only in summer, temps in the 90-100*F range and after being driven...

    2 3/4 total length, 2 1/2 threaded portion. I don't remember having any problems getting them started when I put in new bushings, of course I don't remember a lot of stuff these days;D
