That's just flat out cool. Nice design.
Too bad they didn't give us more room to work with right in front of the driver, but I like the symmetry of a center pod too.
Looks like you've got it all there.

What did you use as your base material and did you pad under the vinyl (is it?) material too?

Subscribed, so please keep them coming....I'm really interested in how you all are mounting your double DIN stereos, or running everything through the phone or any tablet set ups.

Ratbilt....that's freakin amazing.... but way above my pay grade!

Here's where I went. Started with a blank dash and added gauges from Classic Instruments and a light or two. View attachment 879256

nice....
Yes. He added the angled bezels and reproduced the glove box hole exactly as factory but moved over 4 inches for me. The defrost duct holes are exactly like factory but it is a complete fresh stamping the cost will depend on what exactly you design. He gave me a smoking deal because he used all my original stuff that I shipped him at my expense to use as a template. And he asked me not to say what I paid since it is not going to accurately predict others expenses. But if you want to email him he will give you a quote. If he is still working after Covid. I haven’t tried to contact him since my dash was done

that'll be a nice one

funny - mine is 79 -81's stock sport era inspired but now at 51, doing it over I would go with stock gauges and digital dash center console/gps with side vent a/c, and no need to say roll cage thought the dah. but whatever inspires you at the time is best --- enjoy a toy.

Pioneer makes some units where the screen is separate. Allows one to mount the screen in the dash while putting the brain box in the console or glove box or wherever fancies you:

Here's mine, oddly I don't have any full photos of it installed in my Bronco lol. It's got F150 AC vents and SoCal speedshop knobs on it now

Thanks cowboy...I like that idea of the remote mount chassis, had not seen that one before

Hummer dan, that looks full custom and with the AC i'm guessing full rework, however I'll still ask, did you keep the defrost ducting still? Those seem to be the biggest challenge for the double DIN radios
Regardless, looks amazing.
