I started a thread with this for sale and then pulled it to go ahead and build it. I wanted to have some fun with recreating an older stock patina look but update the mechanicals and interior. There was no drive train in it when I started so I decided on a stock rebuilt 302 2 barrel, headers, serpentine belt drive, C4 auto, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes to modernize it a bit. I replaced the cut flares with stock. Just finishing it up and it has been a lot of fun. It will be headed to MN when finished to a new owner and on to my next project. I'm really killing it on this, I think I might get about 32 cents an hour. :)

Wow, that looks incredible. Always been a fan of old on the outside and all new underneath. Well Done!

I am doing something similar with the 70 I have originally from New Mexico... no exterior touch up paint. Just the engine compartment and tinted Raptor liner inside the tub. Under side basically got a wipe down and some touch up painting. Did go for Explorer EFI and 4R70W though...

Really like how yours turned out, Nice work.

Thanks, it was fun doing it although the buyer will be doing a complete new paint job. I just wanted to experiment and give him something that was at least fun to drive until he scheduled it for paint.

I'm actually kind of sad to see this one go. I have a 68 that is going to be be a really fun build but this 67 Lunar was special hardtop.jpg .
