1975 ranger evaluation whats it worth?

fairly complete
motor turns over
C4
Power steering
Would it be a 302 or 289?
Seller parked it 25 years ago and said it ran when parked. Says it needs rear wheel tubs because they are rusted out. Floors are aluminum pans that he made. Front cowl, door post, strikers are solid.
And all the obvious like grill has damage fenders, quarters need replacing.
Owner has some health conditions and he cant really look the truck over much more so that's all the info i got
Obviously there's a lot more sitting for 25 years what do y'all think os a fair price?

So hard to put a value on it. A few years ago it would be a $2,500 rig. Today with a clear title and a relatively solid frame it may be worth $5K. But there are people out there that would ask $10K. It needs lots of work, and from the pics its really hard to determine how much it will truly need. Good luck!

Looks like it’s even got a 66 front bumper.
Somebody had multiple Broncos and the decided to get creative I guess.

Frankly, there is not a corner on that bronco that doesn’t have to be rebuilt to make it drivable, refurbish to make it pretty, and gone through to make it functional.
It’s relatively straight but already cut in the rear, so if you’re trying to make an original out of it would have to have new rear fenders grafted on.
New tailgate could indicate serious rust issues, but it’s a bronco so they usually do have serious rust issues.
For me that’s no more than a $2500 title and registration.

It’s definitely the beginnings of a restoration project, and if you want to bring it back into Ranger status, it’s even more expensive than just putting together a bronco.
So factor that in as well.
Exterior Ranger paint, some extra Ranger interior mods like inner panel covers and seat upholstery, and stuff like that.
All factors in the price.

As was said there are probably people out there that would ask or give 10,000. But I still say 2500 or less.

Craigslist here in Sacramento area has multiple broncos that only look marginally better than this one for 25k

I paid $5500 for a decent tub, frame, and title. It did have Chevy axles to make it a roller. But nothing else. 7 months ago.

this '76 has a lot of interest @ 2500 in AZ. No title, no drive train and a ton of missing metal!
Tub looks somewhat solid but needs more work than I could put into it. So not really sure on a price for yours........

well it looks like that 75 bronco sold between 8-9k CAN. On another note the very next day I found this 75 I had a guy reach out to me through a parts wanted ad I had on Craigs saying he had a parts bronco that he would be willing to sell. I got lucky it was an hours drive door to door. when I got his farm the same day he called he walked me up to this...

1977 sport bronco. my jaw just about hit the ground lol. also I got loads and loads of parts from other parts bronco that were in the back of a pick up truck.
this is what I grabbed from the pick up truck - the bronco is still full of parts. don't even know what's in it yet lol
I see two sets for buckets seats, one bench seat , 4 extra wheels, a few hurts shifters, couple radiators, came with a 8274 winch and many many parts that i believe belong to to the 77 as it was disassembled at some point. engine is seized but loos to be complete in the engine bay.

oh and as luck would have it I got an extra dash with the glove box door and VIN on it still. incredible....z

My assessment from the description is the cost of rust repair will exceed the cost of buying a new tub; Therefore I would be at $7500 to $8,000. You are basically buying a rolling chassis with title.

Now that is the way to start a Bronco project! You could probably sell your extra parts and get pretty close to even.
