Hello fellas. A friend gifted me new WH twin stick trsnsfer case shifters (2004 ones I believe). I have a 75 bronco I'm building and would like to know if a T style twin stick be used on a J style Dana 20? I hear the linkage is a little different, but has anyone here made it work? If so, what was involved?

Thanks

Yeah. You just need to cut this much off the rails and drill some holes in them. I recommend just getting the correct shifter. 20150620_184514.jpg 20150620_184337.jpg 20150620_184423.jpg 20150621_165552.jpg

Or if you are rebuilding your case, we have the "T" type rails, and the additional 'pill' you would need.

Did you see where I recommend a new shifter? Those rails are difficult to drill.

Save your grief and just buy the correct J case twin shifter. It's not that much money.

Your time and effort to modify those rails will be hours over the very simple swap using the correct shifter.

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll try trading my T twin sticks for J twin sticks. Wasn't plaining installing twin sticks on this Bronco, but it was giving to me, so I was going to try to make it work

I like my twin sticks, but I liked the J-shift too. Mine worked great. The only reason I put in the twin sticks was it was needed to switch to the NV3550.
