My glove box cover for my '74 is missing. Since vin is attached from the factory there on backside of cover, how is the cover attached, by rivets to the dash or bolts? Mine has bolts.

That's not the legal VIn..its the warranty tag. You can buy those all day long from Marti.

My ‘76 glove box door (cover) is attached to the hinges of the dash with Phillips head machine screws.

Same with the bottom of the hinges where they connect to the dash.

Yup but the warranty tag itself would be held on by rivets.....

X2 on screws are holding door to hinges, screws holding hinges to dash. X22 it is a Warranty plate NOT a VIN plate. Most DVM's think it is a vin plate, since it has the vin on it. And yes the plate is held on by rivets. You just need to source a glove box door and get a plate from Marti.

Marti Auto can get you a legal repop Warranty plate, the correct rivets and the white Safety Certification sticker on the B pillar.

As mentioned, rivets and warranty plate below. Seems like you were asking about the door (cover) but either way I think all the info about the door and plate are all included now.
