City: Royse City
Price: $ 8500

I’m selling a new 427W Stroker long block that was built by one of the industry experts: Jim Woods at FordStrokers. It took more than a year to receive due to low availability of new blocks (Dart SHP). Now I’m interested in going a different direction. I don’t have any great photos because the engine is mostly still wrapped in plastic.

The long block does not include an oil pump, oil pan, harmonic balancer, valve covers, or intake, though I do have these parts available for sell as well.

Here are the specifics on the long block:
-427W Stroker (4.125” Bore, 4” Stroke)
-Dart SHP Block
-Scat 4340 Forged H Beam Rods
-Wiseco 2618 Forged Pistons
-AFR 205 Heads - 9.5:1 Compression Ratio
-AFR 8019 PAC Hydraulic Roller Springs
-Morel Hydraulic Roller Link Bar Lifters
-Trick Flow Roller Rocker Arms 1.6
-Internally Balanced RPM 4340 Forged Crankshaft
-SA Gear Billet Timing Chain with Torrington Bearing
-Custom Comp Cams Billet Cam by FordStrokers
-Explorer Timing Chain Cover (I can include Explorer serpentine brackets if desired)

This Engine is a few bolt-on parts away from being ready to roar.

ygbkm......Very nice, Sorry I am working down here in DAL for next year, out from AZ. This is what I was looking for before I built my 347 as there were no Dart blocks then. Everyone was scarfing them up.

Fordstrokers made me a nice cam for my 347 which had 9.75 CR and runs on regular gas just fine, is yours built to run regular? Cam made for injected or carb?

Reviewing the SHP block specs, it is externally identical to stock 351w, right? They made the long block, installed and timed in the cam?

Which intake do you have, what oil pump did they recommend, normal or high flow?

My guess is your balancer is compatible with explorer serp/belt?

Internally balanced crank, so entire system is internally balanced? It normally would be. So zero balance flywheel then.

How long have you had it, warranty if any?

9.5:1 CR, should be great on regular gas,
I was going to run the Pro Flo 4, does not come with an intake, dimensions should be the same as a stock 351, but the exhaust is 1/8” higher due to AFR heads, cam is installed, no balancer, has Explorer timing chain cover, normal oil pump recommended, neutral balance flywheel, I’ve had it just over a month, I don’t think there’s a warranty.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s getting expensive, and I had to wait a year and 3 months for the block. I had several people asking to be notified if the sale fell through.
