I would say that 199,500 plus fees counts as high numbers! I thought the same but I think this is the highest price I have seen for one at an auction. I sold a 71 that I had listed here last month. The buyer is probably pretty happy to see this as it would not cost nearly much to restore it to a high quality. Congrats to Tom on this sale, he is a good guy and it was a nice Baja.

I’m a fan of newer engine swaps, but that bronco 2.3 eco does not sound good at all to me…

The serious buyers show up late. I would assume this will skyrocket at the end. There are a lot for sale now though. The auctions are full of them and starting to finally see a decline in prices. It is the same in real estate, some people are feeling they are going to miss the window and the inventory is piling up with overpriced homes.
