My Currie rear end was supposed to be delivered last Thursday, but the trucking company didn't have any local drivers who could deliver until today. Of course I got impatient and decided to test fit a 33" tire. 15x8, 4" backspacing 33x12.5 Wildpeak. The lift going on is a wildhorses 2.5". I realize the 12.5 wide tire won't fit with my lift and being uncut, but it is fun trying convince myself I could do it. The rear is moving back an inch and I won't know the actual lift height until I put everything on, I am pretty sure these are the original springs and they have lost some curve so the lift will be higher than 2.5" from current.

I really like the wider look with the 12.5" tires, but I know the choice will come down to 33x10.5x15 or 32x11.5x15. I was going to move to 17" rims, but I will probably only do that if I have clearance issues on the front disc brake conversion.

Would imagine they might be slow this time of year :(

Working on the steering box frame reinforcement. Getting the frame inserts in there nice and clean is a little tricky but turned out good.

Starting to install new seats. Got the rear sway bar installed. And found what was causing a new burning smell…..

Working on my brother-in-law's Bronco. His original grille was too far gone so a new one was ordered and I painted it Chevy Victory Red. We have bodywork ahead over the next few months prior to a full repaint. He wanted Red but I picked the shade and he's happy. 20230106_160524.jpg

Finished up the frame reinforcement at the steering box. Found the drivers side body mount to the frame was bent down. Couldn't find fender washer that big locally, so I made a 3/8" shim. Now the bumper lines up with the grill nice.
