Got a little bit of mud and water on the Alternator and it gave out :rolleyes:

So I took out the Bronco alternator and cleaned it out:

I did have to deal with a handful of hangups while trying to pull this Alternator out... They don't make them like they used to 😕
Regardless, I'm happy to get it back on the road! 😃🐎

Wow, after all that work to get it out, I think I would have take it to an auto electric shop to see if the could test it before putting it back in. Super interesting.

Yeah I went to a couple auto shops in town and nobody was able to help

Seen that linky on Youtube a bit back, glad you got it all sorted.

Ford's warranty time to remove and install an alternator on a 2.7L is one hour, 1.5 hours for the 2.3L welcome to my daily struggle!!
