Yes, been following it on BaT. Seems like yellow EBs with 4 Wheel Campers on them really get passed around. This one popped up (no pun intended) years ago at the Fabulous Fords Show at Knotts Berry Farm in southern CA. Andrew (bajabronco) bought it and then it went to Terry Moreland (forget his username here) in OH. It appeared in the CB calendar one year and then it was sold to the current seller.

I think somewhere around the mid 20’s or so still exists.

It didn't hit the reserve yesterday. Top bid was $59,500. I think it sold to the top bidder after the auction.

I assumed they were rare. I didnt realize they were that rare. I guess Nick can add this one to his list. https://photos.app.goo.gl/ZBRfGNqdbuQuoz2j8 In 2001 a guy walked up to me and said "your that bronco kid, I got something for you." I followed him to his house and he had one of these campers sitting in his backyard. He gave it to me. I loaded it up put it in the shed and it has sat there ever since.

In someways I think these old campers are one of the coolest bits of Bronco stuff ever made. In other ways they truly are one of the most useless campers ever constructed. My 6 year old son loves to talk about when he and I fix up that camper and put it on the bronco and go camping. I think we better do that fast before he is too big to fit back there.

I respectively disagree. I have a Grandby version on my '66 F250 and we love it. One minute and you're popped up and camping. Four Wheel hasn't done anything radically new to the original design other than a slighted upgraded insulated canvas option, hydraulic lifting struts, and more modern interior options with LEDs and rooftop fans and such. We're a big camping family though, so it suits us well. All depends on what you want to do with your rig.

oh... i didnt mean truck bed campers in general... I am actually a big fan of truck bed campers... Its just that the bronco one is so small... so, so, so, so small.
