35s or 37s? And which hydro boost? Wild horses or Jame Duff?

I thought the RCVs only worked with the larger hole in the 77 knuckles. Thought I saw that written somewhere, or maybe a jim creel youtube video. And if that’s the case, is it easy to swap over 77 knuckles in place of my 74 knuckles. and yes, RCVs would be awesome…..

35s or 37s? And which hydro boost? Wild horses or Jame Duff?

Yup, sorry, too early west coast here and mixed up my words…yes, the hand throttle. I had previously ordered one, and started to toy around with installing it, but need to go try that again.

35s or 37s? And which hydro boost? Wild horses or Jame Duff?

Thx for the suggestion on the hand brake, I have a unit that I ordered years ago and it’s still sitting on the shelf, it’s the JB customs fab version…more like a know as opposed to a gear shifter, but time to revisit installing! And no, the brakes don’t lock up. Just will come to a rolling...

35s or 37s? And which hydro boost? Wild horses or Jame Duff?

I’ve been wheeling w/ 35s For a few years now (up from 33’s). I have a small crew of guys I roll with here in NorCal, two modern 4 door jeeps, one running 37s, and one running 40’s…heavily modified), an FJ60 running 37s, and an older two door jeep running 37s (but with tons of lift, and plenty...

    CA Tires Nitto Terra Grapplers

285/75/17. Set of five. Really good tread left. I have loved these all terrains, but upgrading to the Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35x12.5x17. just the tires for sale; wheels not for sale. Steve

    Buying a 69 bronco with a straight 6, he’s giving me a 302 as well, should I convert?

I’ve never looked back after going from a six to my 302. With my old 6, three speed, and 4.56’s I couldn’t get much more than 60mph on the freeway, and that was at high rpms. Maybe that old six was just shot, but I never wanted to invest in it. 302 and NV3550 are awesome combo.

    Transmission Recommendations

X3. I have the NV3550 behind a 302 ford racing crate engine. 4.56 gears. My steering is tight, so I can go 70-75 on the freeway in fifth gear, at around 2700 rpm. Very comfortable.

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Thx man. I didn’t have the heated seats listed, but been thinking more and more about doing that insert/retrofit. Prob not before the next snow trip (Feb), but maybe later this year.

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Finished the install and wiring of the new windshield wiper motors. Ran the wiring down the sides of the windshield frame as best I could. I think it looks ok. And mounted the electric rocker control switch under the dash.

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

New wiper motors are in place..... And wiring to Synchronized rocker/wiper switch is almost done. Just need to connect one more wire to the wiper fluid pump. But what should I do with the old wiring harness that’s at the top of the windshield frame? This is a pic? I’m tempted to leave it up...

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Strike force Zebra central command box is in place! Check out the location of the install on top of the DS wheel well, and the routing of the harness. Going with an under dash mount, as opposed to top of windshield somewhere. I now have 8 rocker switches in the cabin. First switch is wired...

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Thx for the suggestions. Got the rebuild done. Man, what a pain. Tight spaces and not a lot of fun. But that heat blows now!! Got the heater box rebuild kit; with the larger squirrel cage and stronger blower motor and of course the new heater core. It’s awesome now. Heater box was pretty...

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

The first two pics above are how it looked when I mounted it as it was intended, or at least how the plate fit before I chopped it up a little. These 3 picks shows the mounting plate turned around and the light sitting right on top of the bumper and back a little bit, and not sticking out...

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Got my 12” aux light hooked up. I needed to make some mods/cuts to get the mount plate to fit the way I wanted. I think it was meant to mount with the top side of the plate facing out away from the winch. But I liked it much better facing backwards so I could get a really tight flat fit and...

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Now for the new parts: 12 led light bar and Tom’s Bronco fairlead winch mount: ordered & received LED lights for Rear Break Lights and lens gaskets (discovered I had none when I took out the old bulbs): ordered & received Still “to do” or order: *reconnect high beam switch *connect rear back...

Winter Wheeling in Arnold, and now all the things I need to fix/add....

Snow Wheeling Trip to Arnold, CA….and all of the upgrades I now need to make!! Been heading up to Arnold the last several years for an annual snow wheeling trip with a few of my buddies (one really well built 1980 CJ on 37’s, an OK older built jeep on 35s, and then a ridiculously well-built 1997...
