    1977 IVR

Wow, thanks for explaining how it works. That helps more that you know. I like to know how and why so down the road I can troubleshoot it better. You also answered my follow up…if solid state would be better if it needed replaced. Thanks for you help!

    1977 IVR

Hey everyone I’m at the point I’m trying to get my gauges to work and in doing so, I put my meter on the IVR and I have 14vdc on input side but nothing on the output side. My question is, is the IRV toast because it has 14v? I don’t want to swap it until I know what the correct voltage should...

    Timing advance issue

It’s was 8* and I wanted to advanced it to at least 10* to check out how it reacted but couldn’t physically move it to verify. It seems to be happiest at 10* though

    Timing advance issue

Thanks everyone for the feed back. I tend to over think these things some times. I moved it back a tooth and it was fine. What I wonder is why my timing was at 8*

    Timing advance issue

Okay, I wasn’t sure how far that would retard it but that makes sense. I guess it doesn’t matter at that point because I can now advance it if it is too far. Thanks!

    Timing advance issue

I’m hoping this is an easy answer to an easy question. I have a stock ‘77 302 and I need a few more degrees advance but physically can’t turn the distributor anymore because the vac advance is hitting the rad hose and it’s right at the housing. Is there a way around this issue?

    disrespect or funny?

No doubt wrong and disrespectful. I have had the same thing happen with my bike (a chick though). Who the hell sits on or in another mans vehicle???? That's like coming home and finding someone in your lazyboy.

So how many kids do you bronco lovers have?

This is a great post. I have one girl 5 and a boy 3 after 21 years of marriage. Go figure. My son thinks every 4x4 is a Bronco. I cringe when he sees a Heep and says look Daddy a Bronco.... I just say no that's a wanna be Bronco.....

    Retractable rear seat belts?

@ Raven Tooth I think I know why your asking and I wish we had more options. My kids ride in mine quite a bit and it is a pain sometimes getting them strapped in and out.

    Retractable rear seat belts?

Not sure how you would do that??? What was your idea. If Im not mistaken, one side has to be fixed anyways. Plus the ease of removal factor.
