    Odometer running backwards?

was the odometer working in the right direction before you messed with resetting it? Or before Tom did the refurb? I would reach out to Tom and see what he says could be the issue.

Looking for some advice and opinions on buying a 1970 Bronco

My guess is that it's listed that high just on location. There is a TON of money in this area. One of the most expensive areas to live in this state. Lots of tech guys happy to fork over lots of cash for a classic. Still get offers on mine at gas stations and store parking lots. Also, been on...

Looking for some advice and opinions on buying a 1970 Bronco

Not much ridicule going on here and I hope it stays that way!! One thing you didn't mention is rust.... Where has this truck lived? Easy mod and well worth the spend! So I'm assuming you have driven this truck? Is this a wagon or a half cab?? Is there a bulkhead behind the bench seat?? Best...

    Should i get EFI?

I have tried the aftermarket EFI kits (Edelbrock E-street, Fi-tech and Sniper 1) and honestly prefer my carbs over all of those. In 50 years of driving with carbs, never has a carburetor left me completely stranded. Not to say I never had issues (running rich, lean, crappy etc.) but the carb...

    Christmas Wreath on Grill?

    Carb Help needed....

Oh OK. I always thought that base timing was set with the advance plugged off. Then once connected to full vacuum the idle would have to be adjusted down. Probably why none of my cars ever ran right with full vacuum and I always use ported. :geek:

    Carb Help needed....

wouldn't timing be the same?? Idle would have to be adjusted but the initial timing shouldn't change.

    heater airflow, control cable issue

the units I have bought are cheap and break. The last cable & housing I put in is so stiff I'm afraid will break like the others. Like you, I will be fabbing my own up this winter.

    New crate engine

Like the look and the tray! Nice job. Are your valve covers tall? Looks like it but just wanted to check. I'm running the tall covers to clear roller rockers and have found they get in the way of other parts as most mods do..... ;)

72 Bogs down when accelrating under load
