I am running a stock cast iron 4 barrel intake on my 351w. I carefully shaped a piece of 3/4" thick steel, kind of like a cork. drove it in tight and welded it up with 7018, ground it off nice and flat. It works great.
I have been gathering parts and fabricating for about a year now and it looks like tomorrow is the day to install. I have everything married up un my work bench and would like to install it that way, one piece. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks

I have the exact same carb on my 76. It ran much as you described when I first got it and after a lot of head scratching I cured all my symptoms with a fuel pressure regulator. My old race buddy told me he has seen stock Ford fuel pumps run as hi as 13psi. Way to much for an E-brock.
