I have a 9" Bronco third member with 4:88 ring & pinion- bearings with Yukon Trac Lock. They are 28 spline and have less than 3,000 miles on them (not crawling miles). I also have the matching D44 ring and pinion with 4 low ration carrier. I am selling these for $1,000 if they fit your needs.

Best electric fuel pump for carbureted set up?

I have doubts about the electric pump I have been running so I am going to swap it out for some peace of mind. What are a couple of options out there. I am old school 4-barrell on a 351 running highway only these days. Regarding my concerns on my current one, I can actually hear it running...

Just a little too much play in the wheel.

Yep, all that is good. Flaming river joints on a new collapsible shaft and I see no wiggle whatsoever in the shaft. If it bugs me too much I will just go back to a smaller diameter steering wheel.

    NC 1975 Wind Blue Survivor

Wow, that's exactly what mine looked like when I bought it in N Carolina back in 1995. I still have my wind blue 73.

Just a little too much play in the wheel.

I guess I really should have got clarification on just where that play is measured. Where the steering shaft connects to the gear box? At the steering wheel? What diameter wheel?

Just a little too much play in the wheel.

Well, PSC answered everything but the questions as to whether I should make any adjustments with the "set screw" on the gear box. They did say that the movement should be .50" each way. I think I will leave it be. I went back to the stock size big steering wheel. I think the large size...

    Choosing a differential gear ratio.....

I have a good set of front and rear 4.88s with lockers available.

Just a little too much play in the wheel.

I have read that as well which is the reason I wanted to confirm. I will see if 1/4 turn makes any difference and if not, put it back where it was. It's baffling because none of the joints in the new steering shaft have slack. I will report back the outcome.
