The Red "R" . . . and Some Other Small Mods . . . Next Mod Heated Lens Headlights!!

In both instances I mentioned above, I had to stop and knock the ice off. Almost worse is the road slush and ice build up on the rear flares! 2-3 inches will build up and makes it very hard to open the rear doors. Life in Colorado . . . !

The Red "R" . . . and Some Other Small Mods . . . Next Mod Heated Lens Headlights!!

Just delivered today - heated lens headlights! Twice this season we have had to drive through heavy snow/ice storms. Ice accumulates on 2 things: The Adaptive Cruise Control sensor and the headlights. It's just an annoyance when the ACC stops working, but when the headlights ice over it can...

    Merry Christmas to me

You are correct. My Bronco originally came with the modular bumper. The PO bought a new Bronco and swapped bumpers before he sold it to me. It's the "capable" bumper. Only bonus is it came with factory fog lights. But I don't have a factory fog light switch so they're wired to one of the...

    2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition

If I could justify/afford a second Gen6, I'd get one of these! Yes, it needs a Cactus Smasher and a couple round Cibie lights . . .

    Merry Christmas to me

I really like my Badsquatch. About a year and a half now and I've put 40K miles on it. It is great in the snow - we got 14 inches yesterday! How will you mount your front plate? Ford's solution is a bracket screwed into the lower plastic grille surround piece. There are aftermarket options...

    Traction Bar Options

I went from an 8-pack to 5 leafs and looks like you are going from an 11-pack to 9?? My basically stock Mustang efi engine is probably closer to 200 hp and my axle wrap was pretty severe. (Full disclosure - I also have a doubler that increases my torque.) So if you still have 9 out of 11 the...

DIY Leaf Spring Removal with pics

Yes, that's one option and a good one. I added the WH Wrap Trap to mine. It works well. Either would be a good choice.

DIY Leaf Spring Removal with pics

As I said in your other thread, unless you are running a 170 ci I6 with 2 cylinders misfiring, you're probably going to need some type of anti-axle wrap device. Agree, run it a while and you will probably get some settling.

    Riding too high in rear

I had to remove 3 of my 8-pack leafs to get my rear end level. (The rear is very light with fiberglass fenders, no top, no tailgate.) If you remove a leaf or 2 be on the lookout for axle wrap. Both WH and Duff's have solutions for that.
