    Hydroboost air lock

I have a replacement internal accumulator style hydroboost from BC Broncos, old one had a leak. Everything is hooked up, bled and the steering works find. I seem to have an air lock in the hydroboost which leaves me with essentially manual brakes. I've tried all the lock to lock bleeding...

Hi, I need a Bestop riser, specifically the passenger side, but I'll take the entire riser if someone wants to part with one. Thanks

    Best Top Riser parts

Hi, I need the passenger side half of a Bestop riser channel (apparently it won't hold the weight of the bronco! ;D ) I'd also take both sides if someone has a complete riser setup they want to get rid of. Thanks

Concept Bronco makes a northern visit

I snapped a few shots of the concept Bronco at the Champ Car races here in Edmonton a couple weeks ago. I think it's the same old concept truck that's been around for a couple years. Styling is cool, but the tech specs are a little weak to be calling it a Bronco, IMHO. %)

Just got my new BC 3.5" lift springs in and something doesn't look right. I thought the buckets were the same but they're not symmetrical. It doesn't look right on the passenger side. Did I reverse something? Pic 1 is drivers pic 2 is passenger (doesn't look right to me) pic 3 is full front...

    where is Wild Child?

The URL www.awildchild.com does not work. Google isn't much help either. Don't go to wildchild.com ;D I've been reading about their dual battery tray in the archives. How do I contact them and/or get a look at one? Thanks

Why wouldn't someone be a contributor?

Reading TOFIC's generous free hydro-boost thread I find there are some people that specifically comment about contributor status. I for one think this site is worth way more than $12 a year. Geez, the 9/16" box end wrench to release the e-brake retainer trick was probably worth $100 in...

Ever throw out the old part too soon?

Orderd a new liftgate handle and the internal mechanism from JBG. The old mechanism was totally shot and the handle was siezed, straight into the trash. Installed the shiny new stuff, tested it, all good. Took out the garbage. Next night spun the handle and guess what? The internal...

Q on 77 illuminated dash switch name plates

Not sure what else to call them. Under each dash switch (lights, wipers, defrost, etc.) the little name plate is illuminated and dimmed by the dash lights. From the back these feel like a thin rectangular box which is inserted in the dash. I couldn't find any reference to these through a...

    rare find - Bronco #2

Closed the deal on a 77 Bronco Ranger last night. Bought it from the second owner with 154,000 original kms (that's 96,000 mi). Yes, it has a metric km/hr cluster. From what I understand this is very rare as it was available only in Canada and only on 77's. First one I've seen, anyway. I...

    Source for bolt-on bumper D-rings

I'm looking for a supplier of bolt on D-ring's for a custom winch bumper. I'm thinking of the Hummer style with a 4 bolt backing plate with a non-removable d-ring. Anyone know who's got them? Thanks

    NP435 Vent

I've completed my tranny and transfer case rebuild and I can't locate an obvious vent on the NP435. The intermediate housing seal will prevent venting through the Dana 20. A search seems to suggest it might be vented through the shifter tower hole. Is this the case? If so, has anyone devised...

My project: Here's what I started with. - updated pics

Well I started organizing the photos from the start of my '74 project. The frist look says it all! ;D Features: no roof, plywood half cab, custom console full of chop, large hole in block, 2 piece cam shaft, etc.. Needless to say, if it wasn't made of metal in ended up in a the bin. It's...

    balancer & flywheel question

I've searched the archive and I'm a little confused..... I have a '74 302 rebuild in progress. I had to replace the old block since the PO put a big hole in it. The new block is D4DE which I believe makes it late 70's vintage. I have at least a couple harmonic balancers and flywheels in the...

    NP435 Rebuild question

Hi all, I'm new to this site as a member. Amazing information, my wife thinks I've gone Internet crazy. I tore apart a '68 NP435 about 4 years ago (I know, I know, not very smart) and I'm finally getting around to assembly. I've found diagrams which identify everything but one thing has me...
