    wrap trap Vs torque tamer?

Ok so I Am looking at building a traction bar for my rear axle. I am looking at two designs mentioned above but was wanting to get an opinion from the guys that have them. To me it looks like the Duff bar is a better solution to axle wrap because it attaches at the top and bottom of the 9". Just...

    which carb?

I`m getting close to completing my build on my `70, but am wondering which carb I should go with? The intent of this rig is going to be 80% off-road and 20% street. Specs are as follows, 351W, T-18, D20 I am running 5.38 R&P. I don`t wan`t to swap to a four barrel because if I do that I`d might...

Anyone familar with changing a yoke on a ford 9"?

If you have a torque wrench you can check the torque of the pinion nut before you take it off, then just torque it back to the same spec. I have done way more than I can count this way and never had any problems.

Always read instructions first (lift kit)

OK I took the new bracket and a piece of the old bracket ( the one that bolts to the frame rail) and ran a bolt through both of them anchoring them to the frame, then I took some 1/4" plate and started filling in the gaps between the frame and the new bracket, I also made some pieces that come...

Always read instructions first (lift kit)

I was putting the finishing touches on my 3.5" lift and was going to install the drop bracket for the tracking bar, well without even looking at the bracket that came with the kit I immediatly grabbed the torch and cut the old bracket off just to find out I was supposed to leave it on, Now I...

    steering stop?

So i am in the process of rebuilding the D44 in the bronco and i have ran into a minor snag. For whatever reason the PO had welded the steering stops that go on the back of the knuckle on, so when i had it apart I cut the welds and pulled them out for replacement. Now are these stops there to...

    wierd axle ??

So I am in the process of rebuilding my D44 for the bronco, upon teardown I noticed that the passenger or long axle was way more stout than the drivers side as far as diameter goes and u-joint size. so my first thought was that someone had broken the long axle and replaced it with an aftermarket...
