    blown cluster regulator??

Oil, temp and fuel are all dead meaning, fuel on E, temp and oil on low. I checked for any power to the gages and have nothing. It is like I lost the power to all of the sending units as well.

    blown cluster regulator??

I made the mistake of not turning off the ignition switch when installing by instrument cluster and ended up arcing the cluster on the clutch pedal. Immediately lost temp, oil, and fuel signals to the cluster. Did I blow the instrument cluster regulator or possibly the main voltage regulator...

T case removal - NEED HELP

OK, looks like it will come off separate from intermediate housing. I'll pursue that route. May have to cut the floor to get to it. Thanks for the links. Still unclear on disconnecting the shifter from the t-case. There is a rubber boot that covers the linkage, so I can't see what needs to...

T case removal - NEED HELP

I'm trying to remove the T-case from my '77. I have the driveshafts removed etc., but need help with the t-case shifter removal. From the cab side, I see that the shifter goes into a ball and socket type of joint. Do I need to remove the housing that holds this joint? Also need to know if...

    Leveling suggestions??

I put a 3 1/2" lift on using the add a leaf on the rear. I guess the old springs were a little tired, so it sags a little in the rear. Need about 5/8" to get the rear passenger side back up to the height of the front passenger. The driver's side will need a little more. I've seen the blocks...

    SOLD 1976 Bronco

Hate to see you are selling it. Now I won't have anything to look for in front of the paint shop on Fridays! Thanks for the paint info you gave me for my '77. I got the primer on and need to bring it back by for you to look at. Good luck with the sale. For those who haven't laid eyes on this...

    EB w/Colorado plates in Hawaii

Cool. My EB is came from Hawaii! Story from the PO's wife (he is deceased) is that they bought it in Honolulu when he was stationed there on the base. It still had the Hawaii military stickers on it when I bought it from her. It then spent some time in the Phillipines and then to California...

    Dash upgrade question

Is there an aftermarket replacement for the heat/defrost/fan indicator light for a '77? Mine's pretty banged up and in need of help. I can't seem to locate one from the supply shops.

    Cutting new openings in dash

Got the radio in, but scratched up the paint on the dash. Not a problem since I'm going to re-paint anyway. Does anyone know where to find a replacement indicator light setup for the heater fan and defrost? I can't seem to locate one on the various bronco supply shops. You can see from the...

    Cutting new openings in dash

Here's what I'm starting with. I think I'll go with the jig saw with a metal blade. I don't have an air set up :( so the jig saw is prob. the best option. I'll try to post up after complete. Thanks to all for the input.

    Cutting new openings in dash

PO had cut holes in the dash for a stereo installation. It looks like they may have used a 16p nail and a sausage grinder to cut the opening. I need to enlarge the opening for a new stereo. What is the best way to get a clean, precise cut in the dash?

    Turn signal gremlins

I replaced the turn signal switch earlier in the year. Maybe that's when the problem showed up. The new terminal wires did not match exactly in color, but I thought I connected to the same pins. Could have goofed though. Is there a color chart or diagram available that shows what goes to what?

    Turn signal gremlins

Here's a mystery to cipher..... Without headlights off- front and rear signals work correctly and indicators in the cluster work correctly. With headlights on- right indicator light in cluster is on and blinks on right signal - front and rear signals work correctly. (front signal is off and...

    bouncing speedometer

Thanks for all the info. Got the cable from the Zone today, and of coarse it didn't fit. Wrong fitting on the underside. I'll need to order the new cable and speedo. Old speedo was 18 tooth, so I'll have to do the math. According to a guy at the tranny shop, one tooth = around 3mph, so you...

    bouncing speedometer

Yup, cable replace is probably in order. I need to change the speedo out anyway. I've gone from P235 75 15's to 33 10.50's. Where can I find the chart to know what speedo to order?

    bouncing speedometer

Speedometer on my '77 reads fine up to around 40, then bounces wildly at higher speeds. Is the problem in the cable or the instrument cluster? Info on the fix would be helpful.
