Explorer set up is nice love having only 1 belt to drive everything. But I do carry a spare belt. Damper dudes are great when I did mine I ended up just buying a damper from them was not much difference in price.

Not saying anything bad about steerco this is the first I heard of it also. Just repeating what I was told by 2 vendors that explorer pumps were not holding up.

chuzie the explorer pump I have has to be given tender loving on the rocks and impossible to turn with front locker engaged. So I was kinda agreeing with psc also wh horses said they quit selling the modified pumps due to not being able to put a small enough pully to get right rpm for pressure...
