    Super Celebration WEST?

My mother-in-law manages a couple of properties in BV. Our favorite is this cabin: https://www.vrbo.com/360628?arrival=2020-09-16&departure=2020-09-20 Sits right on the AR River and is about a mile from town. We LOVE it! Sure wish we could make it to this event.

    2004 GM LS 6.0 Hydroboost

My local yard has a 2000 model Astro Van with the engine pulled and (2) 1998 models with the hydroboosts still in them. Said the 2000 doesn't have a motor and would be easiest to pull. Asked $75 for the booster, master cylinder, brake lines and proportioning valve. That a good deal?

    What crate motor?

I dropped the BluePrint 306 with the Holley Sniper in mine earlier this year. I'm running an AOD w/4R70W gears, and 4.56's. I love it. The BluePrint dino rated the motor at 396 ft lbs and 394 hp. I am still struggling a little tuning the Sniper, but Holley is really easy to work with, and I...

    2001 Explorer 5.0 4WD w/200k--worth buying?

It was her high school/college car. She graduated and has taught for the last year or two. She just wants something nicer.

    2001 Explorer 5.0 4WD w/200k--worth buying?

Tiko and Fishinman, thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. Probably worth digging into service history, doing a compression check, and investigating the truck a little further. I can also see how low I could negotiate a price. If the motor, trans, and price are right, even if I...

    2001 Explorer 5.0 4WD w/200k--worth buying?

Thank you for the information. I would definitely want to get it checked out and assessed for a rebuild; good advice. I bought the headers from WH; from what I've seen the GT40P heads will require different headers. Thank you for the mod breakdown, and I will definitely look into the EFIGuy...

    2001 Explorer 5.0 4WD w/200k--worth buying?

My '71 still has the factory 302 in it. I know the PO put in a cam, but I don't know what other work has been done to the motor. I am running a newly-built (less than 500 mi) AOD w/4R70w gearing. Have new shorty headers, too. No body lift. Last night, our babysitter pulled up in a 2001...

    TX Dana 44 (w/components) and 9" out of '71

SOLD I recently swapped the axles out on my '71 Bronco. I am selling the stock axles. The Craigslist ad (link below) has pictures and details. You'll see I've knocked $100 off the Craigslist price for the Bronco community. I am not sure what is in the Dana 44, but at OCBR last year, the...

    Build Threads

I have learned a ton reading this forum over the last year or two. There is ALWAYS something to learn on here. Last week a buddy turned me on to Spare Parts build thread. I have read it over the last few days, and needless to say, it's EPIC! I have also enjoyed Lee Novikoff's Sweet 16 build...

Wild Horses Customer Service is Excellent

Over the last two months, I have had two issues with parts I've bought from Wild Horses. Both were out of warranty at the time. However, Wild Horses went above and beyond to take care of me and resolve my issues. They even fabricated a special part just for me free of charge. Jim Creel...
