    dressing up the dash

Its just that I need to lift the armrest to get to the cover and then I need to lift it to get to the radio. Not a big deal.

    dressing up the dash

thanks. I have bluetooth working and l can listen to my books on tape from my phone, which is all I listen to anyway. So even if it is a pain to get to the radio, I use my phone to control it so it might be ok in the console. Time will tell.

    broken dash light switch harness

Well, crud. A zip tie would be faster, cheaper, would work at least as well and probably work better. And, I didn't think of it. I thought of the most complex method and there you go. Ya. 3d printer. I had to run through four or five test prints while I worked through the dimension to get...

    dressing up the dash

I hate my dash. Its the newer one with the long holes for lights that tell me where the wiper switch is. Anyway, I don't have the parts for the ashtray and I couldn't find the sliding squeeky mount anywhere even if I did want the ashtray. So I built the box for the ashtray last year and I...

    broken dash light switch harness

I seem to take my dash in and out once a week while I am building and I broke both of the dog ear clips on the light switch harness. (see pic). The harness and the switch fit together pretty tight so maybe it wont fall out but I thought it was worth building a removeable clip to hold it...

    dash parts

I bought some small led lights that sit about 1/4 inch out from the dash and shine down on the dash that I am planning on putting in. Someday.

    dash parts

I have a 74-77 single din dash, which I hate, which causes several problems. 1. My dash has those long slots where the lights sit that tell you which knob is the wiper and which is the light switch. Sorry to those who like them but I think they are unsightly. 2. My dash has an ashtray hole...

    coyote ecu mount

I had to cut some pretty big holes to get the harness out of the engine compartment so I printed out some big wire rash guard deals.

    coyote ecu mount

I tried every which way but the engine harness wont reach far enough to get the ECU out of the engine compartment so I had to mount on the wheel well. I printed out a box and I hope it doesn't get too hot. Its pretty close to the header. I left a quarter inch gap on the top and bottom sides...

    Amp research electric steps questions

Hey guys, nice thread. I am thinking of ordering some steps and was wondering what you thought of the quality? They look super cool but do they seem like they will last?

    coyote gas pedal

My only concern is that when I fully depress the pedal, it comes about 5/8 inch from the tunnel. If I get a carpet or floor mats in there someday, it might touch when I step all the way down.

    coyote gas pedal

Finally got the final print installed. I used carbon fiber reinforced nylon. It should hold up.

    coyote ecu mount

I have a 2020 gen 3 coyote. I was going to mount in the wheel well on the outside of the inside fender wall but the engine harness is too short to reach through the inside fender. Where are you guys mounting the ecu?

    coyote gas pedal

I am putting in a 2020 gen3 coyote. It came with an electric gas pedal which is built to fit a mustang. It just does not fit a bronco. Not sure how you guys are installing these but this is what I did. I measured five or six times and still didn't get it right. I mean, how do you mount that...

    Need a shorter headlight switch

I am installing a new centech harness and have the same issue. They included the new switch but not the spacer. Since you shortened the bezel nut, does your light switch knob stick out? It seems like it would. I drilled out the spot welds on the old spacer and am going to try to weld it to...

Door locks stuck in lock position

Sorry, not the hinge pin brackets, I meant the screw that you you secure the handle with is at a different angle, the fix I used was to bend the hinge pin brackets.

Door locks stuck in lock position

I had a similar issue, the new handles and the old handles have a slightly different angle on the hinge pin brackets. I bent mine just a wee bit and that kept it from binding. I wrote up a post on it...
