Very cool! My lines are all run through the firewall so I guess I don’t need either! Just have to find a cleaver way to seal them up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you kind sir!! [emoji120][emoji120] I appreciate your kind words and advice. What are the two huge plastic boxes at the cowl? I finally got the cowl to bare metal and took the two plastic boxes off. I see a lot of the high end builds just eliminate them all together. Are they necessary...

Here’s the measured update: I’m exactly one inch difference at the top of hood, so exactly 1/2” off which is exactly what I need to get the hood gaps perfect. But, I’m exactly 17” to center of frame from the bottom of the radiator assembly. It looks like only the top needs to be torqued to...

I have detailed photos of the shims pre lift, I’m thinking add the new doors, hood, fenders and quarters and do my massaging from there? It might give me more “slop” starting fresh? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fantastic advice, thank you gents. With this new boost in confidence that we can get her alligned, I’m starting to tear her down. Will report back once I get the new panels on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When you say slot the body holes, you mean grind them a little larger to accommodate the shift? At closer inspection, it totally looks like the front end needs to come over about 1/2” to the driver side? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi All! I’m getting ready to tackle the body work on my 74. So far, we’ve done a new motor, new trans, wiring, Dakota, lift, wheels/tires, etc etc etc. next step is installing new fenders, hood, doors, quarters, and tail. Someone mentioned before I install new body parts I should do my 1”body...

Thanks Paul. I’m more and more considering this version or a matte midnight blue as the final from a professional shop this winter. I love the candy red idea but this color has something cool about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The front is still drying. Tomorrow I’ll unhook the old lightbar and all the wiring and run wiring for the new one before install. Should be a fund day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The outside I’m doing in the same Rustoleum bed coating I used on the tub and the roll bar. It has proven to be quite durable, but most important is this: if there’s even a little scratch, you can just spray correct. It blends brilliantly no matter how many coats you do. Sent from my...

The inside of the bumpers I sprayed with Rustoleum Rust Repair and Sealant. It’ll keep them rust free and I don’t have to worry about it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m working on the bumpers now. I decided to keep the impact bumpers but I thought for the front I’d give it a little flair and add a light bar. I didn’t like how the Velocity bumpers light bars were so far rest into the bumper. I always thought it looked weird. I measured and cut a window...

Finally got my seat frames from Toms and installed new foam and covers. I had a local upholstery guy do it. They came out nice. I sit a bit high but I’m already used to it. I just slouch a bit and cruise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Bumper Talk - What looks good?

Test fit My main concern with these bumpers was that they’re too big. I thought they’d make the car lose some of that short stumpy look. Actually, these bumpers give it even a more stumpy look because of the way they wrap around the body, like they’re giving the bronco a hug. Also the way it’s...
