    Radius arm shank wear

They are crusty but they are the best I have out of 3 sets. Pennsylvania carnage I guess. I would imagine anything around here would be pretty much the same thing.

    Radius arm shank wear

My radius arm shanks are worn under the front bushings. Can these be fixed or should they be fixed? Thanks

    C bushing wedges

I'm cleaning up a d44 and when I removed the c bushings the metal wedges on the axles are galled. I scraped all the junk off the wedges and hit them with a wire wheel on my grinder. Looks better but not very smooth. Will this affect anything installing new poly c bushings? Thanks

    Inner axle seal installer

Ok guys thanks, I'll probably just order the one steelworker77 suggested.

    Inner axle seal installer

I'm going to replace my 76 inner axle seals. Amazon has different inexpensive installation tools but the ones I've looked at say for 66-71 and other Dana axles. Has anyone purchased one of these? Thanks

    73 vs. 76 axle housing

Ok guys thanks. My stock height bronco with 1" body lift originally had 0.9 and 1.1 caster readings. I put a set of camber bushings, turned for caster and now reads 1.8 and 1.9 positive caster. I can just replace the bearing an put 4* bushings in but installing the 76 axle wouldn't be much more...

    73 vs. 76 axle housing

Hi, I have a 73 bronco with original d44 with 76 knuckles and disc brakes. Last year I was going to replace the c bushings when I discovered my outer pinion bearing is destroyed. I have a 76 axle without the knuckles and would like to know if the 76 axle housing possibly has more caster built...

    Camber Caster sleeves

So I finally got my alignment specs after installing the 1.5* camber caster sleeves. Probably pretty much a waste of time and money. I am going to tackle changing my c bushings to 4* in the near future. I also got to believe something will have to be done with my steering box. Currently have a...

    Camber Caster sleeves

I am going to try to get my new alignment readings on Friday. We are to get lots of rain mid week in PA. I will definitely post my new alignment specs.

    Camber Caster sleeves

I believe 4* c bushings are inevitable. That job looks very intimidating to me though.

    Camber Caster sleeves

I'm at 1* now. This is on a stock suspension that I replaced the rear springs on 15 years ago. I added the 1.5* sleeves and I'm going to level the rake by removing the load spring. It is very high height compared to the front. I'm hoping to get to 4* caster.

    Camber Caster sleeves

Thanks for the templates, but I'm talking about what is there to index off of on the knuckle? In the picture above I put the split at the rear of the knuckle by eyeballing what I think is the rear of the knuckle. Maybe that's all I can do. I am going to get another alignment and see what has...

    Camber Caster sleeves

Hi everyone, I purchased a pair of SPC camber caster sleeves part number 23012. They are 1.5* sleeves that I want full caster. I have the slot towards the rear what would appear to be full 1.5* caster. How do I know I have the sleeves at 100% at full caster?

    Front end alignment

I might and might not be a little confused. If I would buy a pair of 1-1/"2 coils that Wild Horses sells and install, would that help me get more positive caster or the opposite? I lifted the front frame 1-1/2" with a jack measuring from axle to frame. Second picture now measures 8-1/2". Does...

    Front end alignment

Thanks again, I'm thinking I might try removing the over load springs and see what that does. After I take off the the u-bolts off and lower the axle, can removing the overload spring be a problem? Also what would my options be to lift the front end just a small amount? I have seen a few broncos...

    Front end alignment

The rear of the truck is as stiff as a log truck. I'm running 31x10.5x15". Wheels are 15x7 with 3.75 backspacing. I'd be interested to seeing what would happen if I put a digital degree angle on a flat area of the frame and check the reading. Then jack up the front end and put 2 inch and a...

    Front end alignment

Thanks very much for the input. I have power steering off of a 1974 donor truck and disc brakes from a 1976 bronco axle I bought. The new stock leaf packs I installed I bought from Jeff's Bronco. I have only been driving this bronco a few hundred miles a year without a top or any weight in the...

    Front end alignment

After getting under the bronco, I realized I'm full of crap! 20 years ago when I bought this bronco I remember it had new Trac bar and other blue urethane bushings. When I painted frame and suspension parts everything got painted black. I swore it had new radius arm and c bushings. They...
