Welder or body shop near Philly

I highly recommend the bronz bushing repair. Just drill out the hinges with a specific sized drill bit, drive in the bushings and reassemble. Did it on my 69 and they lasted for years, until I took them off.

    Newbie C4 questions

While we're on C4s, I have a fluid level question. When I check fluid level, trans hot, flat driveway, I get drastically different readings at different times, i.e., one saying add one day and then another day it's 2 inches above the fill level!!! On cool mornings, the torque conv. starves for...

    Electronic Ignition

Duraspark here, thanks to Wildturkey! Picked up h.p., acceleration, reliability and I think my gas milage is up a tiny bit. Plus I really like being able to go to my local Napa and get what I need at a reasonable price.

    ADMIN - New Photo Gallery

Duh! I just happened to log on just when the computer randomly displayed a picture of my Bronco. Thinking Jon had selected my pic for his main page over the many fantastic Broncos you guys have I flashed off an e-mail to him telling him how honored and humbled I was... Dang-it!!! No Emmy...

    window won't go down

Lars is right on!!! Clean and lube all the mechanisms, especially the channel at the bottom of the window frame. I used grease on it because of the long lever arm action from the regulator. Also check the condition of the nylon roller in the channel, that can give you grief. I've tried to...

    Ordered PS pump from napa!

Alex, is that the "canned ham" pump everyone has been talking about? I've been having problems with my pump and it would be great if I could get one right down the street at NAPA.

    I hate Jeff's Bronco Graveyard....update-BANNED from JBG!!

A few years after I bought my 69, I was afraid that I was going to have to sell it because I just couldn't find parts to keep it going. Ford didn't stock them and NAPA never heard of them. This was the toughest, most dependable truck I had ever owned and I was danged if I was gonna give it up...

    name of these rims?

Anybody know who makes the spoked rims, third from the right in Jeepsters photo? They are thick as fleas on chebbys but finding a good set for the EB is tough. I've got a set on but one is so warped that it keeps throwing wheel weights and then dances a jig.

    For the t-case gurus

Thanks, exactly what I needed to know. I've had way too many bearings fall down into a case and not be able to put the darn thing back together. Good idea on the other thread about putting sealant on the bolt threads, I might try that first.

    For the t-case gurus

Sorry, I didn't see the post below. That answers my question for the lower cover, how about the upper and the output shaft?

    For the t-case gurus

Have a t shift t-case and both the flanges at the rear of the case are leaking bad. Can I safely remove these to put new gaskets and a new seal at the output shaft without bearings, shims, gears, ect. falling out onto the ground or down into the case necessitating a complete r&r? Thanks for any...

current state of the bronco market?

Probably 30-40K folks here in Prescott AZ area and between 15 and 20 Broncs most of the time. AZ is GOOOOOD to sheet metal! I've seen vintage tin parked behind farmer John's barn for thirty years and IF it's rusted, you can almost rub it off with your fingers. Keeping the radiator from...

power steering not returning to center

Jason, You didn't say whether your C bushings were new or not. If they're the old stock ones...their shot. Those C bushings are pretty much the most important part of your alignment. If those aren't right, you'll have a heck of a time keeping anything in adjustment.

Brake Light on Dash wont go off

My 69 had rust in the porportioning valve so when I lost pressure to whichever, front or back, I had to really stand on the brake pedal to get it to center. Eventually traded the stock valve for an adjustable and lost the light.

How much $ is in that Bronco???

I've had my 69 for about 20 years. Paid $1000 and it was a worn out rust bucket. BUT, it started every morning and has been the most reliable vehicle I've ever had (especially in the snow and desert country). You figgure what you would have paid out in new truck payments over that length of...
