This 1971 Ford Bronco survivor has a wells voltage regulator? Did this Bronco leave the factory with a motorcraft voltage regulator? I have very little information on the history of this Bronco, I purchased it from a 91 year old man who couldn’t remember if he took his medication that day. I do know that the wire harness is original factory equipment as well as the fuse box in the glove compartment. Everything works on the dashboard, gauges, lights, emergency flashers battery chargers, vehicle starts right up with one pump of the gas pedal in extreme cold and idles perfectly. Starts in hot weather as well never misses a beat. The carburetor is jetted for 8200 feet of elevation.

Thanks for the email reply regarding the pilot bushing! Here’s how the story goes. The pilot bushing was the culprit when the clutch assembly was originally replaced. The transmission was removed again and the pilot bearing was installed. The Bronco is finally fixed.
No more whinny noises now!

Nice truck! I also have a 1971 that I inherited from a family member that lived on the Western Slope. It came from Delta, CO. Same or similar color, but it was a re-paint. It wasn't nearly as nice as yours though. Mine had mice living in it and it was parked outside next to a horse corral. Thanks for sharing these pics.
