So, long story short..my wife had a friend come in town who is from Iceland this week and she was showing her a picture of my rig....the first thing she said was that's a Bronco!! I said how do you know that? She was like, my Dad had one back in the day. Sure enough, she asked her sister to go through her family photo album and they came up w/ this pic. The year is 1973 on a volcano mountain in Brediafjodur, Iceland. Thought is was so cool...enjoy!!

That is way more than cool. Would be great if they still had it, or knew who owned it today.
Assuming of course, that it hasn't turned to rusty pile of dust, or fell prey to a lava flow!

Looks like the antenna is an AM/FM/CB combo antenna. Used to run those back then and they worked well.

The youngster in the middle right looks like my nephew Pete, who's from there. Might have been about that age too.
Now wouldn't that be funny...

Hey! I see another one! Straight over the older mans head about 3-4 inches on the picture is a '67 on the ice ridge.;D;D

I shouldn't try to be funny when it's past my bedtime. %)

Seriously, great picture. Thanks for sharing.

That is a great photo! Thanks for sharing! It has to be in low 4 wheel drive and in first gear with the e-brake cables stretched tight!!

To answer a couple of questions...no they still do not own the truck nor do they know who does....Paul she is trying to find the real name of the person you mentioned to see if there name is really Pete, it was the only one in the photo she did not know who it was, haha!! so there is still a possibility!!!
