• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I just purchased a largely unmolested 1966 U14 with 170 cubic inch motor and three speed transmission. I am looking for a correct air cleaner, correct rear hubcaps and front bucket seats. any help is appreciated. thanks

I may have the air cleaner and/or maybe the seats. I'll try to remember to check today after church.

66 and 67 used same seat frames but different upholstery, all 66 seats were silver, buckets and benches alike. 68- 77 were different seat frames.

I want to say thanks to members of the forum who helped me with some hard to find parts. I was able to find a nice set of 66 hubcaps and an original oil bath air cleaner. I also have a 66 rear bumper on the way. and with advice from forum members I believe that I will be able to find a set of 65 mustang seats and have them recovered in the bronco silver to complete the interior. as stated above I was able to buy a nice set of bucket seats...just the wrong model. thanks for all the help!

Rare 66 parts are still showing up from time to time. Usually you have to "Pay" to play in the 66 model, but if you see a good deal, you better jump on it quick.
I was able to find my 66 roadster back in January, at a decent price...but dropped 6 grand in the first month on it!

Some say '65/'66 Mustang seats are the same as '66/'67 Bronco seats, but not exactly. The Mustang driver's and passenger bottom frames are both set up for sliders. Only the Bronco driver's side frame is. The Bronco passenger side bottom frame tilts forward on two unequal length hinges and is arched in the back to sit as high as the driver's side. Also, the Mustang seat backs tilt forward in opposite directions for entry while the Bronco backs tilt the same way. The Mustang driver's side bottom frame and back are the same as the Bronco, just not so with the passenger side.

I forgot, you must source two driver seats from a 65 mustang if you want it to work out

66 seats

found a set of 66 front buckets and got them yesterday. upholstery and foam were shot but the main frame rails were good. springs were questionable but useable with some work. my advice on seats..if you cant see them in person get really good close up pics...especially of the springs!
