I bought one of these and love it. Put the nut where ever you want;
I don't think that would work. It would have to be done on the front surface of the windshield since the existing hole goes through the inner panel and one interior panel. I am wondering if there was a nut tack welded in there that popped off and is inside the cavity still.
Good and bad looks. I’m still impressed by how solid things like the doors are but then I look in the windshield and see there no but to screw into. Any ideas on a fix for this?

New drive shafts front and rear, including new spicer output yoke on the front. That pretty much much wraps up the under side refurbishing. On to the interior. Leaving the engine bay for last.
There are a few imperfections but I think this acceptable for skill level. Now I can start putting the dash back in.
