• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Bought this 77 off Classics back in 2011. Jbbronc helped me locate it, as he is certainly of the top 1% in the Bronco world. It was offered by bajafresh, and for me was better than advertised. The best part about it was that it had ZERO RUST, and every indication was that it always had ZERO RUST! It spent its entire life in Arizona until a one month stop in Tennessee and on to CT. It was freshened up some time in the 90's, which had allowed the Arizona climate to give it a very real and authentic patina. The original paint is seen through the repaint in many places. It doesn't appear to have ever been hit, or had any body work that would say panels have been replaced. That said, my number one priority was to stop time and keep it exactly that way. The truck has been driven in the rain a handful of times, and never in our New England winters. When the weather turns cold, I fill the tank with Cam2 to avoid any ethanol issues and let it hibernate. To stop corrosion, I spray all my vehicles with a 50/50 mixture of Seafoam and vegetable oil. Cutting the vegetable oil with Seafoam allows it to aspirate through a little pump sprayer and the mixture has great adhesion properties. I spray it in every nook and cranny of my trucks. It still has ZERO RUST.

The freshening in the 90's really screamed old school hot rodder to me. The truck had a locked 4.10 chuck in the rear, really rendering it a two wheel drive street truck. It came with the original 3.50ls, which was reinstalled by Basals Transmissions (jbbronc). The interior was redone during the freshening, and carpet was installed on the top up to the headliner. With that, there was no way to remove the top, so I know it hasn't been off in at least 25 years. With some paperwork that I have, I believe I'm the second owner if you take baja out of the mix. The DSO for the truck is Phoenix, and it has dealer installed air, which you don't see often. The fan on the unit is operational, but the under hood pieces are no longer there. The U152 heavy duty 4900lb GVW is pretty cool, too. The 351W is very healthy and doesn't leak anything. It gets an Amsoil oil change and filter annually, regardless of the low miles used. The odometer was around 99k when I got the truck back in 2011, and now reads around 112k. No idea if it turned over prior.

The Arizona climate took a toll on some rubber parts like window gaskets, etc. Many have been replaced. It has new glass in the front. New Saginaw power steering, rebuilt steering box with all FoMoCo parts, new radiator (4 core), water pump, intake, fuel pump, belts, harmonic balancer, timing chain cover, hoses under the hood. New front and rear brakes, one new rear axle (due to reoccurring leak) , assorted bearings and seals. Tires (33 BFG MT'S) are in great shape. It tracks straight as an arrow and stops that way, too. If I had the time I wouldn't hesitate to drive it to California. I have the rear tire rack, and a thule basket as well.

All parts were sourced throught the normal Bronco suppliers or direct from Ford. All work was trusted to Basals. I'm sure there's plenty I'm forgetting, but I'd be happy to chat with anybody till the cows come home. Calls are best, as I'm usually away from the internet. Thanks for looking.

I would be happy to buy your Bronco for $21.5K if it could get to me here in Bluffton SC in a way that protects both of us. I have the cash and could meet a driver on I-95 exit 8 in South Carolina if you can work it out.

Yep. Sold to a great car guy and multi time bronco owner. Thanks for all the interest. On a side note, had the best shipping experience ever by a wide margin with this one. Anthony Lowery Trucking out of Savannah. Anthony worked his tail off and was just a high quality person. He runs the east coast all year long. Top shelf. 912-657-2763 is his cell. He's all about return customers and steady business. Pricing and effort reflects that philosophy.
