Yellow bronco is being worked hard and I am getting a lot of help. I also have photos in at least three different threads. I figured I should consolidate the photos into one thread to capture the build better. The links to the other threads follow if you really are bored and want to read through them.

My Village (not everyone is here, there are others I rely on heavily as well, and the Idiot is the photographer ;D)

1. Yeah I so wanted to keep them but the tires were loosing air through the dry rot!

2. I believe that is someone looking at all the carnage behind the yellow truck. I believe there was a pile of destroyed parts all EB related.

3. I am going to need one if you have one. I do still have the black one but it will need some stitching.

Funny, but not really true-cameras aren't idiotproof...............although close:p

I love the way the two Brians are peeping over the back of the truck like that guy peering over the fence in "Home Improvement" !;D

Kept going, lots of welding to do on the rock skis. Never really burned this much wire all at once. Lots of little projects but I really like it! Fit in the drivers floor too, the pan is from Bronco Hut and it is a two piece unit. I had not planned on using the top, but I really need the lower lip on it and the edges are tender. If you look closely, you can see the line I planned to cut it on. I decided to keep it hole and I will use 3M panel adhesive to hold in place. There is a whole other pan under it, I know not cool but this will be going in the woods eventually. The other pan and the pside pan will be welded in. It is currently just sitting there.

Pete, Bronco's coming along nicely and I commend you on the work thus far.
Sorry I couldn't help assist this past week as I had prommised as I have been battling a nasty stomach flue. Doing better now so let me know when you'll be out working on her again.

On another note, I got the radio fired up and semi working. It's abit down on transmitter power, has a couple of LED segments out on the channel display and she seems to want to kick into oscillation after warming up a bit. I'll do a clean, peak and tune on her (if she'll let me;D) and go from there. Let you know how it makes out. Unfortunately for what they're worth today she's not far from the scrap bin. Should have kept the half a dozen clean rigs I got rid of a couple years ago just to hand out to whomever needed one.%)

Glad to hear you are feeling better Dave. Don't sweat the radio, just a novelty from its 80's vintage feel.

It's almost friday and no updates??????

It's been a bad week Art. I have done nothing on it since Monday. We have an audit finishing up this week. They fly a specialist in to look at my program specifically, the only one to get a specialist out of 40+ programs in my department. My week has been dedicating to making them happy. Am I glad it is Friday! %)

But I thought you were the 'Specialist'...

I will be watching this thread- I hope your build doesn't drag on like mine has!

There are only 7 of us so I have been the "specialist" before. It is not a fun position to audit such a tight knit community program at another location.

As for this build, it is supposed to be on the road to May it Forward!%)

I have learned to take audits as a compliment (33+ years with uncle sam changes your perspective!): someone has been unable to find fault from a distance so instead I get nitpicked in person. Yep, still a giant PITA and I still despise 'em, but they wouldn't keep digging if I wasn't doing something right.:p
