• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I am curious as to what someone would pay for a 71 Bronco just for the vin numbers??? My bronco is/was running and driving in the fall, does have quite a bit of body rust, electric windshield wipers, etc. I really need some advice from people who know a lot more about Bronco values than myself.

Welcome, posting up some pics are about the only way we can even get in ball park. When you say "pay for a 71 bronco just for the vin numbers", are you talking about selling it for parts, or just selling the title, frame, etc?

Strange post are you just selling the title and glove box door??? Pictures would help. I would guess from $100 to a few thousand based on the poor description.

Sorry for being a little vague about it. I will post some pics later this afternoon. I'm actually not trying to sell it at the moment, but considering. Not selling it as parts, but here's a better description for now:

71 Bronco with quite a bit of body rust. It starts, runs, and drives with 4 wheel drive that works. Got original rebuilt motor by previous owner. Frame seems to be in good condition (can't see any rusted through areas on frame).

If you were in Oregon I would buy it. I have a good tub and not worried about any parts but got it all for free and no paperwork. Would love to find a good frame and title.

I would start high as I know many people looking for what you have, $5000 or so. Its much easier to lower the price then raise it.

That's a $2500 Bronco to me, but you could get lucky and have an impulsive non car guy that gets a wild hair and buy it for $5-10000 thinking he can restore it. Though he wont finish. Or a millionaire could buy it and send it off for a $100,000 restoration.

Thanks. Im not looking to make more than 5000 and my original thoughts was honestly no more than 3000. Ive had a lot of people tell me to not take less than 3000 if I decide to sell it.
