You're going to really like that color matched liner. Looking good.

Thanks, Looking forward to the next phase of the restoration. Can't wait to see it sprayed with the color matched raptor.

Preparing inner tub for epoxy primer then Raptor liner. My paint supply mixed up my original color (less binders) to add to raptor liner. Hopefully with all this time off you would of thought I could had this done by now. A little more prep and I'll be ready to go!

Epoxy Primer time!!! Raptor Epoxy Primer before I Raptor line the front clip with color matching liner (S code) First coat on I will let sit overnight then seam seal any areas that may need it. Than hit it with another coat or two. Then hopefully a very light coat of Raptor liner in color match. Couple little runs here and there I'll take care of those before I re-shoot the primer.

I was under the impression the seam seal went on then the epoxy primer.

Is it better to shoot the epoxy then add seam seal?

I'm asking because I'm helping a neighbor do a gen1 Toyota and hopefully putting epoxy on this weekend.

It depends on type of seam sealer your using. Than you would also want to get epoxy primer in all the crack and crevasses before covering with seam sealer.
Looking very good BroncBuB

Put doors, fenders and grill on then I'll add the hood and tailgate for final fitment. Gaps look real good and body lines seem to be pretty straight. Than tear down and start sanding and priming. Raptor line color match inner engine bay and floors. Underside will also be raptor lined with the brown primer look. Things starting to flow a lot better now. Even thru in the carpet and door panel for motivation.

If I keep "plugging" at it as I am doing now, It will be close. It's just so darn hot to be in the garage in the middle of the day with no A/C...I started back to work about a month ago, work nights and have 4-6 hours a day to work on her.
Will see....

Thanks

After sanding the fenders down I realized they wouldn't do for my restoration. To get them to fit right I would need to cut some welds out and reposition and re-weld. Also they had some pitting I wasn't happy with. So I ordered new from Dennis Carpenter the Un-assembled fenders = Mounting Brackets are Loose
• Allows for better body panel alignment & adjustment.

Get this the shipping for these were $14.99 the assembled fenders were $250 freight. Go figure.

Hood Lift

Installed Tom Broncos Hydraulic Hood Lift Props. Very nice and easy to install. Trying to salvage my hood and front grill. Minor imperfections but, should be able to work them out.

A liner is going to give you a lot more protection.. Inside is not as prone to scratching up as the outside specially if you wheeling more than on road
