Hi Guys...……...I'm new to the site. I'd like to start a thread to show the progress of my 67. Is this the right forum to do this and can I move pictures from the gallery to my build thread ?

Hey Jerry Welcome to the forum...I'm living in Kalamazoo right now but I'm up in Pentwater pretty much every other week. I restored my 68 not to long ago and currently working on buttoning up a few things on it before april. If you need any help or pointers Id be happy to stop by and share some knowledge!

Either. From your computer is easier, but you can do it from the Gallery with just a few extra steps.

Go to the Gallery. Find the photo. Click it so the larger image comes up. Right click on it and select "copy image address". Then come to the forum and start your thread. Click the "insert image" icon (looks like this
insertimage.gif
) and paste in the image address you copied earlier.

Like I said, there are more steps, but it goes fairly quick once you've done it a few times.

Thanks for the warm welcome ! My tear down is complete at this point and my truck looks more like parts bin rather than a truck;) I will try to add a few pics in the order that I have taken it apart.
Here is some pics of the rust damage. The body is really bad ! The good news is this truck was well maintained . All the fluids were reasonably clean all the grease points were greased the engine ran well and had good compression

I think its going to be a nice little driver. I'm going to keep the 6 cyl drive train . I took the truck down to it's frame cleaned, rust proofed, and painted it. I'm right now in the process of putting a 2 1/2 suspension kit .

Here are some of the repairs I made to the frame. I used large washers to replace the metal around the body mounts. I also replaced the front spring towers and the frame metal behind the towers

Here are some pics of the rig I used to clean the inside of the frame. I got this idea from Matts garage on youtube . It's a cable with short lengths of chain attached with a length of PVC to keep the cable from twisting up and to guide it into the frame from each end. I used a 3/8 drill to spin it. This worked extremely well. When I finished I used my leaf blower to blowout all the debris

More of the 67

I got side tracked over the summer ( destroyed the aod in my Maverick ) But I did get some work done . Here are some pics. I have had a change of heart. I found an automatic setup and I have a 289. So the 6 will go away ( maybe my Falcon wagon?)and the 289 ( mostly stock) will go into the Bronco

I hope to post more progress soon. The suspension is a 2 1/2 lift and is complete on the frame. I disassembled the differentials and appear to be in very good condition. Brakes are all rebuilt. I also inspected the tranny and transfer case also looked good (but I won't be using it now) I purchased cowl and floor separately as a complete assembly. I have new rear fenders and rear floor. The floor is in and old fenders off . I have been removing all the rust and either fabricating or replacing all the rusted pieces. All the surface rust is being cleaned and chemically converted . With a little luck and ambition I hope to have a complete body by spring
