Looking at getting visors. I don't run a hardtop so stock won't work. Do Heep ones work, just need to be able to screw both ends into windshield frame, not worried about drilling holes
In mine the stock are there and work and we have no hardtop. The outside screws into the windshield frame and the inside mounts into the plastic wiper cover.
We have a soft top metal bracket that is bolted to the top of the windshield frame that helps protect and hide the cover.
Many many years ago they had a mass-buy on Rosen Visors. I snagged a set and love them as much as a person can love a visor. They are pricey but worth it in my mind....
Many people just make a metal tab screwed to the windshield frame. The tab has a piece of tubing of which you could then insert the end of each visor. If that makes sense.
Found a link, several pics and options for the work around:
All the stock visors were mounted on the windshield frame. None of them needed the top. The stock electric wipers were no exception. They just looked bad when the top was removed.

My family cage has a bar in front of the windshield frame. I bought a set from a Jeep site that was made for the side and goes around the roll bar. They have a nice curve and look good when folded up.
Used a piece of steel from the windld frame with a piece of 1/2 tube. In the tube a piece of rubber fuel line . The end of visor in the hose. Supports the visor ends and no rattles.
