my point earlier mebco, everything will sell. They don't care. Flippers or "builders" don't even know. I see some "specialists" (in bronks) that seem to not know (or take advantage of short cuts, dishonesty to the "brand", markee.
Worse, in some ways, is the guy who will argue w/U "it's not correct for that bronk, a bronk model, certain year" etc. So I really don't care. U can do anything U want with it. Its just a jeep after all. Made as a utilitarian (2nd gen chero is similar) style, pretty much DD (there we go again - multi-purpose, good at no thing, OK at several**). Superior to the ones on the continent AND Japan for u.s of a (do hwy speed AND some fair off rd excursions).
I like closer to stock/oem than most here. Some sleeper-style mods for safety, may B increase off rd capacity, MPGs...but I like all vehicles to hold closer to their originality. Guys here d some amazing stuff. I honor their skill & ingenuity. I got mine for income and ease of DIY, a '70 in 1982 or 3.** so that's where the extreme mods come in. Asa body-on-frame it can B an easy platform for adaptation. Shock hoops, 4 link, etc. Guys who wanna 'race" them (sorta opposite direction) seem a lill off point (to me). But this is what 'ownership' is about: "Make it ur own."
As they begin to come into "classic car" status I C the stock/oem/less modified raise in price, be held longer in ownership, etc. What we see in the other classic cars. This is a good sign to me. I'd like this to continue even if prices fall some.
