I'm thinking about running the stock steel wheels on my 74. I can't find them at any salvage yards in the Memphis area. I found a few on ebay. Shipping is ridiculous. Any suggestions? I never would have thought a plain Jane steel wheel would be hard to find. Will there be any issues with my 31x10.5-15 tires?

I think an original equipment wheel will be too narrow for your tires. You can probably find something that looks close to stock but is available in the correct width.
Maybe Summit racing, or someplace else that sells a lot of wheel styles.

There are several folks running 31x10.50x15 BFG KM2s on stock wheels. I went with the same set up and I think it looks great.

Normally I don't park my bronco on it's side.

I have a 2.5" suspension lift on my 74`Bronco with stock wheel under the uncut fenders. So you are saying I can use the 31x10.50x15 BFG tires without them rubbing my back fenders ? Thanks

I also have a 2.5 SL but my bronco is not finished. A fellow member (Mustangs2) has a blue bronco that was the inspiration for my setup (along with being my screen saver on my work computer). I believe he has not had any issue with rubbing...maybe he will chime in.

Hi, I've had the original 15 x 5.5 rims, and many tire guys say they are too narrow for the 31 x 10.5 tires.
I've never had any issues in 30 years.
Also they never rubbed the uncut quarters with a 2 1/2" lift ( now 3 1/2").
Good luck

I’m running 31x10.5 Cooper discover STT Pro’s on stock wheels. I do have a 2.5 SL and a Wild Horses 1 inch Body lift. No rubbing at all.

You may get some grief from some places about mounting them but a 10.5 tire on a 5.5 rim is fine. If you adjust your air pressure it won’t balloon in the middle and rides great. Wider tire on narrow rim is ok, narrow tire on wide rim and you asking for trouble.

"...balloon in the middle ..."
that's one issue,
nother is rubbin in the back w/the slightest weight or road bounce.

So many variables as to B almost moot.
'S Y the tech section on tires/wheels has Zero entries...
