is the process to convert the older tanks with the square cover as simple as drilling holes and possibly relocating the in tank pump power post?

If you have one of the BC/Sherman tanks (they're the only ones I know that use a square cover), then yes, that's what I am planning on doing. We'll have to drill a fairly large hole and also drill/tap the flange mounting holes in the square cover.

They use one of the standard 'swing' (for lack of a better term) sending unit.

I am sold out right now but reached out to my contact at the manufacturer and ordered 10 more. Figuring 2 weeks or so hopefully, they were custom made and nothing they normally stock.

Feel free to PM me or post here if you want one. I don't really want any money until I have them to send out.

Could I be added to the list too?

Put me on the list as well. I just finished installing the swing arm one and it works but I had to bend it to fit around my battles and now it doesn't hang low enough, so a straight one would be sweet!

I'm planning to drop the tank, pull the square sending unit cover off, remove old sending unit, drill new big hole to drop this one in if needed, drill/tap new holes, and reinstall. Wanted to do it before my SC West trip in a few weeks to try it out on that adventure but I'm running out of time.
